Can I use garlic and herb cream cheese in a (Japanese) cheese Cake recipe?
Or would it just taste too strange? (as opposed to plain cream cheese of course) I mean, I love garlic and herb cream cheese on bread, but in a cake…?
You could, but it would have a savory flavor rather than sweet. You wouldn’t want to use it as a dessert, as garlic doesn’t usually lend itself that way, but it might serve as a good appetizer, spread for crackers or hors d’ouevres.
